Loving God is win win!

God is not there with a stick in the sky,

Delighting in each time I fall,

Despite all of my messes, bad decisions and fails,

His immeasurable grace covers all.

God promises not to leave or forsake me,

Though friends may fall by the wayside,

Some exasperated may leave me behind,

But Jesus is forever by my side.

He knew all of my life beforehand,

Even before I was born,

He had planned my rescue and redemption,

Before I knew anything at all.

This is the bountiful beauty of grace,

Non of it is down to me,

I can't earn it, or win, or deserve it,

The great gifts of God are all free.

Nothing can seperate me from His great love,

No fear based narrative can ever,

Snatch me from the arms of my Lord,

Who created me and loves me forever.

I don't have to grasp, or strive, or perform,

Or relentlessly cling to what isnt mine,

When the greatest treasure in life is this,

That He has hidden my life in His.

He blesses, He loves and He cherishes,

His children who call on His name,

As a Father He lovingly forgives,

And promises to love without end.

Thank you for my wonderful Saviour,

All goodness is found in Him,

Kindness and mercy forever,

You see loving God is win win.
