Flesh fighting warrior

 There are times when I should be fighting, praying and interceding,

Instead of reclining, accepting and whatevering!

My flesh wants ease and the easiest path,

To give up, to stop, to rest and relax.

But God calls me to live a big picture life,

To use my time wisely and not give up the fight,

To rejoice in Him always, and pray without ceasing,

To be spurred into action, His Kingdom needs increasing.

I was not called, to live a life filled with ease,

To know Him, and yet do whatever I please,

It is not, enough, to be a believer or a Christian,

He gave me gifts, to fulfil my earthly mission.

So come on, get up, get on and get out,

Being a flesh fighting warrior, is what it's all about!

Jesus will not celebrate until we all get there,

His heart, forever longing for the lost everywhere.
