Mantle of Peace

Rest, your weary heart sweetheart,

 Sometimes it's ok to let go,

 Fall into my arms let me catch you,

I long to be with you, you know.

Lets walk together on this journey,

Slow down, let's chat about your day,

You don't have to be fearful, my treasure,

My child, I will never go away.

I will lead you, and guide you forever,

Straight in to the promised land,

And there we will talk, for eternity,

About everything, that I have got planned.

Come and rest I know that you are weary,

Come and hide in the shelter of my wing,

Let me hear your heart beating softly,

Only then can true healing begin.

Stop trying so hard, take it easy,

Leave all of your burdens with me,

Still all of your storms, and stop straining,

Mine is the mantle of peace.

Come with me child, into forever,

My delight, my treasure, my friend,

I will never leave you abandoned,

 I will never let go of your hand.

Stop fretting my child, let's live softly,

There is nothing to fear by my side,

I will whisper, I love you forever,

In my heart, is the place you reside.
