Let me stay here at Your feet
At Your feet again,
My heart broken in two,
Everything, inside of me,
I lay before You.
Bowed, in Your presence,
The tears, start to fall,
Sinfulness, meets Holiness,
Love, breaks down walls.
Crying, a thousand tears,
I worship at Your feet,
In humility and brokenness,
I approach the mercy seat.
Lost in this sacred moment,
Of timelessness and tears,
Letting go of everything,
Carried within for years.
Oh those precious feet,
The feet that bring Good news,
Letting my hair fall,
I have no dignity to lose.
You are worth more than everything,
So, breaking my alabaster jar,
I anoint Your feet my King,
With perfume from afar.
All that I have been,
And all that I will be,
Is transformed in this moment,
As Your forgiveness sets me free.
Bowled over by forgiveness,
I know that my sin is great,
Overwhelmed with gratitude,
Let me stay here at Your feet.
