Nothing Else Matters

I need to be reminded, with each new day,
Before the cares of the world lead me astray.
That nothing else matters but being filled with Gods’ love,
Til my cup is overflowing, with riches from above.

Nothing else matters, but studying your word,
Before the world began, only your voice was heard.
Glorious truths, its pages to show,
And things, to wonderful, for me to know.

Nothing else matters, but singing your praise,
In a crescendo of awe, your name I raise.
Created to worship, and chosen at birth,
May your name be glorified in all the earth.

Nothing else matters, but this joy in my heart,
And knowing you, my Lord, and “How Great Thou Art!”
You sent your precious Son,to atone
 for all my Sin.
So I can be, in that number, “When the Saints Go Marching In!”

Nothing else matters, but His peace deep within,
Although the storms of life, their troubles bring.
God calls me to be still, and wait on Him,
Finding refuge and safety, under His wing,

Nothing else will matter, when dawns that day,
When everything on earth, will fade away.
As I gaze at the face of Jesus, shining like the sun,
An eternity of praising Him, will have only just begun!
