Our Father we thank you from the depths of our heart,

Our creator, Oh God, how great thou art!

To each one of us you gave, our own special gift,

To edify the body, your praises to lift!

Each one unique, like no one before,

Gifts for the Kingdom, your family to draw.

Each one created to reflect your heart,

Some can capture life’s beauty in art!

Some are gifted to dance and to sing,

Lifting their voices, your praises to bring!

Some are created to lead and to teach,

Others sent as missionaries, your family to reach.

Some have a heart for the homeless and poor,

Others bring justice and knowledge of the law.

Some work with kids and other things,

Others with writing your praises to bring!

Some work in the house, keeping everything neat,

Others, even serve by the washing of feet.

On the street,  from tables some evangelize,

Some with computers in admin organize.

All praise to the Father in heaven above,

He made us, a unique vessel of His love!

Each one of us gifted in our own special way,

With passions as different as our DNA!

Created and designed with skills to develop,

With the love of Jesus, our world to envelop!

In the family of Christ, we are part of the body,

At one with the spirit, we are called to embody.

Our precious Father, knows every hair on your head,

And all that He created is good! He said.
