Dawn's Song
Oh sweet brokenness which brought me to my knees,
It is only from there, I can glimpse what He sees.
To fit in with the world, I tried with all my might,
Yet in my deepest darkness, You shine your light.
Opening each door to you, unlocking years of pain.
Yielding to healing as you cleanse my heart again.
As the spirit touches me, I regret the years we missed.
You created me to walk with You, and in your presence blessed.
Precious Father I now cling to You, and in my life you reign.
I need your life within me, like a parched desert needs rain.
A love that gave up everything, and hung upon a tree.
My precious Saviours dying breath was spent forgiving me!
What can I give Him but my life, my heart, my all.
Living to serve you Father, I will answer the call.
You long for our hearts, You created each and every one,
From each and every nation, you call us to come.
Passionate Father waits with outstretched arms,
Longing for His family, to shield them from harm.
So great is His love, waiting for the last one to come.
Shining, radiant brides at the feast of His Son!
