Angels Part 3

The Lord will keep you from all harm

He will watch over your life,

The Lord will watch over 

Your coming and going

Both now and forevermore.

Psalm 121 v 7 & 8

The bible is full of precious promises of God. 

God is eternal and unchangeable.

His promises stand forever.

David Pawson, a bible teacher and author of " Unlocking the Bible," shares that he asked God, for a special name, to call Him. 

God's,  reply to David was " Always! "

God is always, always was, always is and always will be!

The precious promises of God, in the bible are too numerous to count.

In Jeremiah 29 v 11
The bible says,

 " I know the plans I have for you,

Declares the Lord,

Plans to prosper you and not 

to harm you.

Plans to give you hope 

And a future. "

Indeed, the very hairs of your head

are all numbered!

Luke 12 v 7

God is our refuge and strength

An ever present help in trouble!

Psalm 46 v 1

The bible is a love story, which tells us that God is love and that God loves us!

How then can the truth about God have been so misrepresented?

Some may, have never been taught,
some have been hurt by those, who they believe represent God,
and others like sheep have gone astray!

When we stray, we can easily be deceived and attacked by predators!

Peter tells us in 1 Peter 5 v 8

 " Your enemy the devil,

Prowls around like a roaring lion,

Looking for someone to devour"

 " And no wonder, for Satan himself

Masquerades, as an angel of light!

2 Corinthians 11 v 14

The bible makes it clear that we have an adversary.
This adversary first make a an appearance in Genesis Chapter 3, and he begins by questioning the very nature, and the words of God!

Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28, tell us the history of our adversary.

Lucifer was the most beautiful angel in heaven.
Lucifer means light bringer.

God created Lucifer and God delighted in him.

 He was given the name morning star, and son of the dawn, titles which demonstrate his magnificence. 

But Lucifer became proud, and in his conceit and rebellion, he sought to be equal with God.

An angel, a created spiritual being, created to love and be loved by God, started a take over bid!
He was cast out, and the bible tells us that he took a third of the angels of heaven with him.

This angel who wanted to be worshipped, adored, and equal to God!

How delighted he must be, when people worship and honour angels above God!

When human beings seek the relationship with angels, that should be reserved only for God!

Satan is no longer called Lucifer, he lost his glorious title.
He now, has many names and non of them are beautiful.

Satan means adversary!

"Beelzebub" literally means Lord of dung!

"Belial" means worthless. 

Other titles include deceiver, liar, destroyer, accusar, tempter, devil, evil one, and enemy.

Jesus, calls Satan a murderer, in John 8 v 44

"You belong to your Father the devil

and You want to carry out your 
Fathers desires.  
He was a murderer from the beginning,

not holding to the truth,

for there is no truth in him.

When he lies, he speaks his native language,

for he is a liar and the father of lies!"

The bible takes the battle for our souls very seriously.
It is not all love and light and lollipops, as the New Age would have us believe.

When I was studying Angelic healing, one of the first things I was encouraged to do was make an angel altar.
Not to worship angels but to honour their presence!
Speaking to angels was encouraged and using angel cards to connect with them.
Angels in the New Age are big business, with angels figurines, designed to suit any budget.
There are numerous books and a plethora of Angel cards to choose from!
Angel cards are designed, so that you can consult the angels in the same way that you would consult an oracle or practice divination.

Angels are conveniently associated with many other New Age practices and teachings. 

Angels are associated with crystals, so called healing stones that all have different healing qualities and colours.
Angels are also associated with specific parts of the body, so they can be adapted to different healing modalities within New Age Spirituality .
One could wear a blue stone to connect with Archangel Gabriel, who also helps with throat problems and communication!
Archangel Raphael deals with healing and is reportedly, associated with the colour green, the heart and any pink or green crystals!
It is like going down a rabbit hole with many tunnels, you could literally go down, one blind alley after another!

I once went for an Angelic healing session and I was given a handful of crystals to place in my bra. I was actually, so spaced out, I nearly got run over numerous times!

When I first read this verse in Ezekiel 13 v 17, it really struck me, the seriousness of these practices.

"Now son of man, speak out against the women 

who prophesy from their own imaginations. 

This is what the sovereign Lord says:

What sorrow awaits you women who are

ensnaring the souls of my people,

young and old alike.

You tie magic charms upon their wrists 

and furnish them with magic veils. "

Ezekiel 13 goes on to say that the people, profaned God for handfuls of barley, and scraps of bread!

When you think that crystals and magic charms are everywhere and the sale of them is very lucrative!

These practices are highly dangerous, detestable to God and leave us wide open to enemy attack!

As I have stated in previous blogs, there is nothing new about the New Age. 

The same old lies, are dressed up in different disguises, the deceiver doesn't need to change his tactics.
 The same lies, which have been around since the beginning of time, are still working!

Angel cards are tarot cards with prettier pictures! 

They are a tool for divination.

The bible clearly tells us that divination is wrong!

Deuteronomy 18 v 10 tells us that,

"There should not be found among you,

Anyone who burns his son of his daughter

as an offering, anyone who practices divination,

or tells fortunes, or interpret omens or a sorcerer. "

Creating an angel altar is a form of idolatry, and the Lord, takes a very dim view of idolatry.
It is punishable with a curse!

" You shall have no other God's before me,

you shall not make for yourself anything

an image of anything in heaven above

or under the waters below! "

Exodus 20 v 3

These New Age flights of fancy are a dangerous deception, that take us further, and further away from the protection of Our loving Father.

I believed I was speaking to angels for many years, but these angels didn't point me to the truth about God!

Now the Spirit expressly says

that in the latter times some 

will depart from the faith,

giving heed to deceiving spirits

and doctrines of demons. "

1 Timothy 4 v 1

" But, even if we or an angel from heaven

should preach a gospel, other than the one

we preached to you, let them be under God's curse! "

Galatians 1 v 8

They didn't  lead me to the foot of the cross, where Satan was defeated once and for all!

They didn't lead me to repentance, and to the arms of my Heavenly Father, or to a deeper, sweeter relationship with Him.

Of course they didn't!
I was conferring with demons, whose very intention, is to steer me as far away, as possible from the cross of Jesus!
The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, and he will use any means to secure our death without salvation.

"For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness

and brought us into the kingdom of the son he loves. "

Colossians 1 v 13

I urge you to listen to this song, and come to the Father, come home to the everlasting arms.
Come to the one who loves you so much, that you were literally worth dying for!

" There is more rejoicing in heaven,
