Worship King Jesus, in spirit and in truth!

 

Jesus, I pray, that I would keep my eyes on you,

Remembering you, all the day through.

Not racing ahead, or looking behind,

Just, following the path, where your light shines!

Jesus, if only, I could just focus on you,

Listening only, to Your voice, which is true.

Let Yours, be the only voice that I know,

Following, You Jesus, wherever you go.

Keep, my lamp burning all through the night,

Give me the strength, for the battles, I fight!

As I wait for the day, when my bridegroom appears,

Not knowing, if that day, is far off or near.

Jesus, your beauty, no words can describe!

True worship comes, from so deep inside.

I pray, that I worship, in spirit and in truth.

With an anthem of praise, which raises the roof!

Jesus, help me to live a life that is holy,

Conformed to the image, of you, and you only!

Make me, so much more, like you each day,

In Your sweet presence, forever to stay.

I want to be ready, with oil in my lamp,

Sealed, with Your name, on my head like a stamp.

To be ready and waiting, and longing for my King.

To spend eternity, in glory with Him!

I don't know if eternity, is long enough?

To honour, and praise You, for Your great love!

To gaze at you, in incomprehensible awe!

As angels in heaven, before Your throne fall.

Singing, Holy, Holy, Holy, to the lamb who was slain.

Thousands of angels, join the refrain!

My eyes fill with tears, just imagining the scene,

My heart overflows, with joy I can't contain!

Oh Jesus, my Saviour, no words can explain.

How the Spirit touches me, when I hear Your name.

Let all creation Praise You, again and again!

Giving glory, forever, to the lamb who was slain.

I love you Jesus, take all of me,

Form me into whoever, you want me to be!

Let me shine, a blazing light on the hill,

Guiding the hearts of others, straight home to You!
